The Campsite is leased from Earnshaws Timber Merchant and is managed by Girl Guiding Leaders and volunteers from the two Wakefield Divisions (North & South). We are a secluded site in the heart of the West Yorkshire countryside, nestled between Stocksmoor common nature reserve & farmland. The campsite is easily accessible from the main road and offers plenty of car parking.
The site cater for a wide variety of visitors and is ideal for overnight camps and events including

The site is situated in Midgley, West Yorkshire on a main bus route between Wakefield and Huddersfield. There are also a number of nearby local attractions.
- 2 areas designated for disabled parking
- Space for 8 cars (double parked)
- Additional space for 4 cars just outside the main campsite entrance.
There is no parking on the street.
For larger events where parent drop off is required please seek advice from the campsite team.
